Concert Organist and Pianst
The Phoenix String Quartet

home audio ensembles about us weddings FAQ contact us contract

We invite you to use our concert Organist and Pianist for your wedding.  If you plan to use both the string quartet and an organist booking them together through the Phoenix String Quartet will save you money.  Dr. Mazzatenta is available both as a soloist, and in combination with the Phoenix String Quartet's string ensembles.

Dr. Michael Mazzatenta
received his Doctor of Music Arts degree in Organ Performance from Arizona State University and performs as a concert organist, accompanist, handbell director, and jazz pianist. His Bachelors and Masters degrees were completed at the University of Michigan.

Michael has won awards for both performance and composition, including his history-making "double-win" awarded by Area II of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers for original handbell compositions in both the adult and youth categories.

Michael is the Organist at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church in Scottsdale, and resident keyboard artist with the Phoenix String Quartet.
